Managing Risk in the Face of Uncertainty Alan Mallory, P.E., PMP Essential Steps for Successful Projects Corvallis Branch is excited to announce a workshop collaboration with our sister chapter, PMI Portland. Alan will be presenting a 4-hour afternoon workshop about managing risks to conquer daunting challenges, such as climbing Mt Everest! Alan Mallory took on the challenge and set a world record when he, along with three members of his immediate family, reached the summit of Everest. This incredible, self-guided expedition challenged the mental, emotional and physical limits of their entire beings and at every stage of the ascent demanded unwavering commitment and resilience. Key Learning Objectives: Planning and executing difficult projects Empowering team members to make critical decisions Responding quickly and efficiently to issues that arise Identifying risks early Developing risk response strategies Registration extended to March 19!
