Lunch Meeting: Integrating Project Management and Change Management

Deliberately managing the people side of change is key to project success.  As we near the end of a change-intensive year, it is more important than ever that Project Leaders develop strategies for deliberately managing change in a way that reaches the heart.

Changing systems, implementing lean business processes, and more can create resistance or other people-related challenges for Project Leaders.  Prosci, a global leader in change management research, found that you are 6 times more likely to achieve project objectives when you are deliberate in managing change.

This presentation, led by Leisha Krueger, MOAM, Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner, will introduce the basics of how organizations change and provide insights and practices enabling you to lead change more intentionally within your projects.

Attendees will be able to:

  • Describe how organizations and people change

  • Explain the value of deliberately managing change

  • Identify common change tools and how to incorporate them into their project plan

We will be utilizing a virtual platform for this presentation. The meeting link will be provided after you complete registration. If you experience any issues, please email vptechnology@pmiwv.org.
