Thank you for attending the 2019 Willamette Valley Project Management Conference.  We look forword to seeing you again next year!

October 18, 2019 at the Salem Convention Center200 Commercial St. SE Salem, Oregon 97301

Delivering Value in a Transforming World - Presented by the Project Management Institute Willamette Valley Chapter and the Oregon Project Management Advisory Board, this year’s conference focuses on the evolving roles of project manager and business analyst in an ever-changing world. At the conference, we will discuss new ideas and approaches, sharpen fundamental skills, and provide opportunities to make new relationships and strengthen existing ones. New this year will be an exhibit hall for you to learn more about innovative products and services. We look forward to seeing you at the conference.

In addition to our Keynote speakers, there will be three separate tracks including Business Analysis, Project Management Fundamentals, and Project Management Advanced Topics (see updated draft schedule). There will also be structured networking time. We plan to offer 8 hours of PDU's to those who participate. Lunch is included with the registration fee.

This year we have two amazing keynote speakers:

Jonathan Michael Bowman, J.D. serves as CEO of Clear Picture Leadership®. He uses lessons learned from his childhood, leadership skills honed throughout his career and the inspiration embodied in his artwork to encourage leaders to achieve a “clear picture” vision. As Jonathan says, “Picturing your destination is the first step to achieving something great.” Sometimes leaders are tempted to cast aside an imaginative vision because it is deemed “unrealistic.” Yet – as his tagline says – Jonathan challenges leaders with “a different perspective: Where imagination and reality meet”. Learn more at: ClearPictureLeadership.com.

Scott Lesnick, CSP, amazingly devised a daring plan to reunite with his two small children who were kidnapped to the Middle East and no laws required them to be returned. This proved to be a significant test of both his resolve and the strength of his conviction. The abduction and how he retained custody of his children led to the principles of tenacity and persistence displayed in his customized presentations. Scott has received numerous top sales and leadership management achievement awards at a Fortune 500, Berkshire-Hathaway owned company in a career spanning 28 years. As a result of his sales training and on-the-job work experience, Scott’s expertise and “years in the trenches” will help you in growing relationships and persevering in today’s transforming world.
