Topic: Business Analysis in Project Management
Presenter: Chet Lundy
Chet Lundy is the Manager of the Oregon DHS Office of Business Information Service (OBIS), responsible for ensuring DHS program and policy integrity in Enterprise IT Projects and representation of centralized business O&M responsibilities in Enterprise IT solutions. Chet brings nearly 18 years of experience in IT systems management, development and support. He has been managing business analysts and other support resources for DHS operations and IT enhancements since 2014, and recently joined collaboration with the Integrated Eligibility enhancement and future O&M design effort of the Oregon Eligibility system. Chet will share his insights about the role a business analysts plays in project management.
When we asked Chet about working at DHS and moving to the ONE IE team, he told us that he “enjoys the challenge and reward of IT projects and solutions. Working with talented and dedicated individuals and with programs which ensure and enrich the safety, security and independence of our families, friends and neighbors is gratifying and gives strong purpose to the work.
When he isn’t working, Chet enjoys home brewing, camping with family and friends, and attending swim meets and other sporting and community activities with his wife and kids.
