The Salem Branch is hosting the next Spring 2018 CAPM/PMP Exam Preparatory Class!

Let 2018 be the year you earn your CAPM or PMP certification through PMI Willamette Valley! Registration is open now for the Spring exam preparation course at PMIWV Salem Branch.

This is an excellent opportunity to earn a certification that will set you apart from others. With increasing frequency job postings are requiring a certification in Project Management. In 12 weeks, you will complete the certification exam prep course before taking either the CAPM or PMP certification exams.

We are now accepting new student registrations for our Salem CAPM / PMP exam prep course. The course has proven to be an essential success element to past participants who have earned their PMI certification. For our Spring 2018 CAPM & PMP exam prep course, we will continue our commitment to a quality instructor staff, comfortable and safe facilities, and proven Velociteach materials for you.

Schedule:

Tuesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm for 12 weeks. Starts April 3, 2018 MAY 1, 2018 through June 19, 2018 JULY 17, 2018. 

Location:

Participants should expect:

PMP certified instructors, all 6th edition materials, weekly homework assignments, class participation exercises, slides, flashcards, CDs, condensed reference materials with formulas, pop quizzes, online instruction, practice exam question access, and a mock exam.

Course Decorum:

Arrive on time to respect others, cells either off or on vibrate, no texting during session, arrive with completed assignments, notify instructor if you are going to be late or absent, sign in at each session, complete a course evaluation, participate in all classroom exercises, and complete a PMI PMP Certification exam application if sitting for a certification exam. Food and drink are allowed in sessions.

Contact Hours earned:

Participants earn a maximum of 3 Contact Hours for each of the weekly 12 sessions attended. If all sessions are attended this will satisfy 35 Contact Hours for PMP application and 23 Contact Hours for CAPM application. Contact Hours earned are verified by your signing the class attendance sheets each week.

Note 1: If you are a PMIWV member in good standing meaning dues are paid, who took our CAPM/PMP Exam Prepartory Class in 2015 through 2017, then did not sit for the certification exam or did not pass, you qualify to attend at no charge our 2018 Spring course. Please note that you are responsible for ordering your training materials from Velociteach and PMI's PMBOK 6th Edition.

Note 2: If you register after APRIL 15, 2018, you are responsible to provide the current materials we will be instructing to which are the 6th Ed PMBOK and 6th Ed Velociteach All-in-One Student kit.
