October 2017 Salem Lunch Meeting

PMO Startup: Project Management Office Strategies (Thursday Meeting)

GaryBrower

Presenter: Gary Brower, PMP

According to Gartner research, “A project management office (PMO) is usually created to solve a specific problem.”

There are many potential functions of a PMO, and one size does not fit all;  so, we will examine which strategies may improve results in your organization.  Your company might benefit from a formal Project Management Office or it may be better served by implementing targeted PMO strategies.

We will start by examining key benefits that may be provided by a Project Management Office, and then continue to discuss approaches for implementing PMO strategies.

This interactive session can help you to harness PMO strategies that improve efficiency, consistency, and quality across your projects.
