Let 2017 be the year you earn your CAPM or PMP certification through PMI Willamette Valley! Registration is open now for the Spring exam preparation course at PMIWV Corvallis Branch. 

This is an excellent opportunity to earn a certification that will set you apart from others. With increasing frequency job postings are requiring a certification in Project Management. In 12 weeks, you will complete the certification exam prep course before taking either the CAPM or PMP certification exams.

Registration closes for the Spring Course 2017 on Wednesday, 22 March 2017 at 5:00pm PST.  Sign up prior to Jan 25, 2017 to receive the early bird discount!

We are now accepting new student registrations for our Corvallis CAPM / PMP exam prep course. The course has proven to be an essential success element to past participants who have earned their PMI certification.  For our Spring 2017 CAPM & PMP exam prep course, we will continue our commitment to a quality instructor staff, comfortable and safe facilities, and proven Velociteach materials for you.

Schedule:

Sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings 6:00pm-9:00pm, 12 April 2017 through 28 June 2017 on the HP Inc campus, located at 1000 NE Circle Blvd in Corvallis.

Materials provided:

• 5th Edition Velociteach Advantage Kit
  • Text book, flashcards, audio CDs, online access to practice exams
• 5th Edition PMBOK Guide

Participants should expect:

PMP certified instructors, all 5th edition materials, weekly homework assignments, class participation exercises, slides, flashcards, CDs, condensed reference materials with formulas, pop quizzes, online instruction, practice exam question access, and a mock exam.

Course Decorum:

Arrive on time to respect others, cells either off or on vibrate, no texting during session, arrive with completed assignments, notify instructor if you are going to be late or absent, sign in at each session, complete a course evaluation, participate in all classroom exercises, and complete a PMI PMP Certification exam application if sitting for a certification exam. Food and drink are allowed in sessions.

Contact Hours earned:

Participants earn a maximum of 3 Contact Hours for each of the weekly 12 sessions attended. If all sessions are attended this will satisfy 35 Contact Hours for PMP application and 23 Contact Hours for CAPM application. Contact Hours earned are verified by your signing the class attendance sheet each week.

Early Bird Pricing Until 25 January 2017:

• PMIWV Member $750*
• Non-PMIWV Member $950**

Regular Pricing Until 29 March 2017:

• PMIWV Member $950*
• Non-PMIWV Member $1,100**

If minimum participation is not attained the course may be canceled. You will be notified and refunded.
