Working with the PMBOK Guide - Sixth Edition Cyndi Snyder Dionisio, MBA, PMP, EVP Chair, PMBOK Guide – Sixth Edition In this presentation, Ms. Dionisio will inform the audience about the significant changes in the due to release Sixth Edition of the PMBOK® Guide. These changes will be discussed in comparison to the currently released PMBOK® Guide-Fifth Edition. Cynthia will highlight links to PMI’s Talent Triangle and other key knowledge areas then recommend potential ways to adapt this new context to your current projects. About the Presenter Cynthia Snyder Dionisio is the Chair for the PMBOK® Guide - Sixth Edition and was the Project Manager for the PMBOK® Guide – Fourth Edition. She is an active volunteer with the Project Management Institute and has been an active participant on PMI’s Standards Member Advisory Group for several years. In addition to her volunteer work with PMI, Ms. Dionisio is a professional project management consultant, instructor and author. She has written eight books on project management. She provides consulting and training services for government and private industry. Her consulting focuses on project management maturity, project management curriculum development, and positioning project management as a core competency for organizations. Ms. Dionisio is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and earned her Master’s in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. In 2009 she was awarded the Distinguished Contribution Award for her contributions to the profession. Professional Development Units: Structured Group Discussion - 1 Technical PDU.
